Motorola i9 Reviews

Posted in Computers on July 12th, 2009 by Computers

Motorola Stature i9 comes with a with a sharp display screen and a variety of functions which will suffice the average user’s multimedia needs. Its reminds us of the RAZR2 series

The Motorola Stature i9 has a sleek angular design, feels comfortable and is sturdy. The front of the phone has a soft touch material and a shiny front which is very attractive, though it attracts smudges. The display screen is large and very colorful, it supports 262000 colors. The display is bright and it shows time, date, , signal and a numeric caller id. The best aspect of this phone is that you can navigate through all the application and menu options without even opening the flip.

On the phone’s exterior are a volume rocker, PTT button, MicroUSB charging port and a speaker voice dialing control on the left side. Located on the right side is the button, a device lock button and a control to initialize the menu on the external screen. Behind the battery cover there is a microSD card slot. While all these features are placed conveniently, the camera lens and flash are very inconveniently located on the top left hand corner behind the phone. The problem being, that is exactly where most people rest their fingers.

The internal display is of the same size and resolution as the one on the outside. The menu appears to be a bit of a hassle to navigate and require some getting use to. Also, if you are in a sub-menu and exit, it will take you back to instead of going to the Main Menu.

The Motorola i9 has a that supports , shuffle and repeat modes and it’s extremely easy to add music to the phone by using the USB, Bluetooth or a . Other key features include stereo Bluetooth, application manager, , PC syncing, voice dialing and voice commands. The only high end feature that the phone lacks is a GPS application.

The 3.1 megapixel camera sensor can take photos in 7 different resolutions ranging from 320 x 240 pixels to a maximum size of 2048 x 1536 pixels. There are many editing options which are also available on the camcorder. It has an internal memory space of 128MB and total storage is expandable up to 8GB via the microSD expansion slot.

In sum, this phone has an impressive design with sufficient features and above average call quality. On the downside, the camera is slow and photo quality is mediocre.
