Nokia 7510 Supernova Mobile Phone Review – The Ultimate Fun But Affordable Phone

Well, the Nokia 7510 Supernova is the latest model and it appears at first glance that Nokia has learned from its mistakes. Instead of trying to do everything, the Nokia 7510 Supernova has a very clear focus – fun and functionality in one handset. The question is though whether it delivers or not!
Basic Design
The Nokia 7510 Supernova is not like the other mobile handsets in the range because it is actually quite basic with nothing flashy to distinguish it from the rest of the market. The casing is very simple and yet classy as a result of this. It would appeal to all individuals because it is metallic silver with no added extras that people either love or hate. The dimensions are relatively normal at 92.5mm x 46.4mm x 16.7mm so nothing particularly stands out but underneath the basic casing, there are several solid features that provide functionality as well fun.
The Features List
All of the features lie beneath the surface of the Nokia 7510 Supernova with no dedicated buttons being visible on the front. When you look closer though, some solid and functional features lurk below. All of them are incredibly easy to use thanks to the amazingly ordered menus. Everything is in its right place and so is easy to find. The multimedia player is good and offers excellent sound quality that you can enjoy via a 2.5mm headphone jack. This is the only option you have so it is a little annoying. However, at least it does provide you with an option because many similar middle range phones do not.
The Nokia 7510 Supernova is also disappointing in that the camera built into the handset is only 2MP. Although it still takes pictures that are of a good quality, the camera does not compare to the best camera phones on the market at the moment. However, there is an LED flash so steady images can be taken no matter what the light conditions are. As such, it may be a negative feature to some but more than sufficient for others. There are also many connectivity options and even a web browser inbuilt into the phone so you can enjoy all of the features expected of such an affordable handset.
As you can see, there are certain negatives about the Nokia 7510 Supernova handset but these will only be that way for people that are used to better facilities on mobile phones and do want their handset to do it all. It is rather a simple mobilephone made for users who value quality rather than having useless gimmicky features. However, if you want a fun but functional handset that does not jump through hoops then the Nokia 7510 Supernova handset may be your phone of choice. It is definitely worth considering if affordability is a priority and you do not want to sacrifice quality.
